Our Rowe Naturals bamboo and boar bristle toothbrush is made with 100% bamboo and boar bristles, and nothing else.
Brush your teeth with an all-natural toothbrush made without plastic or petroleum products
Most toothbrushes are made with plastic, nylon, petroleum, and toxic glue- that isn't something you want brushing into your gums and putting in your body. That's why we are providing a safer alternative to brushing teeth at Rowe Naturals, so you don't have to worry about the toxicity in your toothbrush anymore.
Made with medium-firm bristles that clean the teeth without scraping enamel or gums like nylon toothbrushes
The boar bristles on our toothbrushes are medium-firm stiffness, which clean the teeth well without scraping the enamel like nylon toothbrushes do.
Reduce your ecological footprint by choosing a biodegradable toothbrush
Our toothbrushes are 100% biodegradable. When you are done with it, you can throw it in your compost!

Care & Use
To soften bristles, soak in warm water. Store tooth brush in dry environment. Rinse brush thoroughly after each use. Replace brush every 6-8 weeks.
This is a natural toothbrush with no glue, it is normal for a bristle to fall out from time to time. It will not affect the overall functionality of the brush.

The bristles are perfect and so is the head shape. Wood could feel okay in the mouth if it was finished smooth and corners rounded. How would you finish with non toxic materials? There is a way. Organic flaxseed oil is perfect as a binder. Artists refine it with just water, salt, sand, and sunlight into a completely non toxic (USDA organic edible) binder that dries quickly once refined and treated with light until it polymerization is underway. There are pigments approved for use in food. There are probably easier ways to make a fully compostable and organic finish, but it a absolutely can be done.
Treating the wood will be the final step in a toothbrush that is fully compostable and as comfortable as any commercial brush. Hoping to see that one day soon!
No plastic
I bought the boar bristles toothbrushes to avoid using plastics in my mouth. The package came quickly, in a box of 4, and with a nice minimal design. The medium toothbrushes are just the right hardness on my teeth without damaging the gum. I highly recommend and would buy again.
I love the toothbrush, the bristles are strong and sturdy. The floss is also great, however you must be careful when pulling it as it can get caught on the metal lid and fray.
I have really loved using the boar bristle toothbrush. My teeth definitely feel cleaner - ie no build up when rubbing my tongue on the back of my teeth. I have used my brush for about a week now, I have lost several bristles, but really love how clean my teeth feel, and how gentle the bristles are.
